Who are we?

The German-Chinese Friendship Association (DCF) is a nationwide association founded in 1996. Our goal is to develop and consolidate relations between the German-speaking area and China in the cultural and economic field. The DCF is a platform for contacts to and with Chinese partners.

We work closely with:

  • Embassy of the People's Republic of China
  • Government agencies of the PRC
  • Federal Ministries
  • German and Chinese business organizations
  • Financial and technical cooperation institutions
  • Educational institutions
  • Chinese institutions in Germany
  • Cities in China, among others Shanghai, Chongqing, Jiaxing, Dalian, Qingdao, Sanya, Zibo, Zhangjiakou

What do we want?

Our aim is to develop and strengthen relations with China in the cultural and economic fields.

That is why we are ideally supported by Chinese government agencies and government agencies in German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria and South Tyrol). In connection with the support from our members, this gives us the opportunity to create connections that lead to concrete and long-term cooperation between states and actors.

We want to grow together and in close cooperation with our members from all over the German-speaking area and build further bridges in the fields of culture, economy, environment and education to China.

What do we do?

We build bridges. We create connections that benefit both sides.

Examples of our work:

  1. Participation in the state visits of German and Chinese government representatives
  2. Preparation and support of high-ranking bilateral specialist and cultural delegations
  3. Realization and elaboration of visiting programs
  4. Design of sophisticated cultural events with ethnic performances & exhibitions
  5. Trade fair and exhibition advice for our members
  6. Establishing contacts with legal advisers, professional organizations, logistics institutions, recruitment agencies and the media in China
  7. Organization of exchange programs for experts and young talent
  8. Promoting young talent, supporting Chinese students and sports groups as well as informing our members about current questions about China

In short: let us help you avoid jumping into the deep end! We build the bridge for you.

Members

The company members are interested in finding access to Chinese markets or purchasing products from there with our support. Some of the companies are already active in China and would like to deepen and revitalize relationships. Our advice is also very much in demand on personnel and training issues.

We are particularly pleased about the encouragement from personal members. Their interest in China is broad: economic, ecological and social issues. We support projects in the field of culture individually or in conjunction with e.g. with universities, city partnerships or non-profit institutions.

In addition to our many private members, our corporate members from Europe are (part):
